Dear Friends and Family, I decided to create this blog with the help of our Analissa. This is to keep all of you informed so that it may lessen your worries and to clarify what is going on with my health. First we would love to thank you all for all your well wishes, concerns, love and prayers. I am doing well I just have some health issues that need to be taken care of. I will be having surgery on Nov. 15 due to some findings in my uterus. I need your prayers for a quick recovery through all of this. Also on Nov. 1, after 3 mammograms I was diagnosed as having STAGE "0" ZERO DCIS of one breast. It is not life threatening. If you have DCIS, it means that you have abnormal cells, pre-cancer cells in the lining of a duct. I am still waiting to see what treatment will follow for this. I do not know what the future holds. It is my faith in Jesus and all the love that I am surrounded with that keeps me strong. I am focusing on one thing at a time. I ask God, who is so merciful to have mercy on me. I ask you all to reflect on your lives and to treasure every moment with your loved ones and to take time to smell the roses! For life is too short and too precious. I love you all! Love in Christ and in Our Blessed Mother, The Acosta Family Jesus, I trust in you! Jeremiah 29:11 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jesus, I believe that you have plans to prosper me and not to harm me. I thank you for always watching out for my family and our loved ones. In this time of trial, you have increased our faith. It is so comforting during these uncertain moments. I ask that during this time if there is anyone in my family whose faith is not strong that you strengthen it. We are all united in prayer and know that you are with us as you promised that where two or three have gathered together in Your name, You are in their midst. Matthew 18:20. So even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff comfort me. Psalm 23:4
