Update January 18th

On Dec. 5 I had my first lumpectomy to remove area of precancer cells in my left breast. The pathology report results stated that some cells were left behind! My surgeon told me that I now needed an MRI to find the area and it was found! Praise God. It was small area near the previous surgical site. I was scared to find out that these cells were all around my breast but that WAS NOT THE CASE! (I DO NOT REQUIRE A MASTECTOMY)One more prayer answered. I was scheduled for surgery on Jan. 18 to remove this new area. Surgery went well! We will have pathology report results in about 10 days. I am not thinking of anything yet until the results are in. Once they are in I will be instructed which treatment is best for me. I will try to keep you all posted as soon as the results are in. Thank you for visiting my blog and for your prayers. I could not do this without you all! Lamentations Chapter 3: 21-26 But I will call this to mind, as my reason to have hope: The favors of the LORD are not exhausted, his mercies are not spent; They are renewed each morning, so great is his faithfulness. My portion is the LORD, says my soul; therefore will I hope in him. Good is the LORD to one who waits for him, to the soul that seeks him; It is good to hope in silence for the saving help of the LORD. Love, Mari
